Opportunity awaits you at Helotes Gallery, located in the heart of Old Town Helotes. Since opening in February 2019, our 2,500-square-foot gallery—housed in a charming historic building—has featured fine art, artist pop-up studios, teaching space, and an inviting atmosphere that celebrates creativity.

 

Here is how it works…

Our team of professional partners manages the gallery and handles art sales, allowing artists to focus on what they do best — creating. Artists pay a reasonable monthly fee for display space and a small commission is taken on each piece sold.

 

We are fine art and fun art….

We understand that art lovers appreciate outstanding work in a variety of forms, styles, and mediums. At Helotes Gallery, our goal is to offer a diverse and engaging selection throughout the space. The central gallery showcases original fine art pieces, while the side galleries highlight unique, fun, and eclectic works. This blend of refined and playful creations ensures an inspiring experience for every visitor.

 

We value our patrons and our artists….

Our customers are looking for more than just beautiful art — they want an experience. Likewise, artists often seek opportunities to share not only their work but also their creative process. There’s nothing more engaging for an art patron than watching an artist in action. At Helotes Gallery, we offer small pop-up gallery studios where artists can create, display, and sell their work in an interactive setting that fosters connection. We also invite artists to give live demonstrations on our expansive covered porch and to teach classes in our on-site classroom. Throughout the year, we host special events such as “Paint Helotes,” where freshly completed artwork is displayed in the gallery, often still wet from the easel.

Helotes is a growing community with a vibrant and diverse population that spans all ages. The City has welcomed our arrival, and we’re proud to be part of a supportive and thriving local culture. Helotes regularly hosts community events such as monthly Market Days, jazz festivals, chili cook-offs, and more — all right outside our front door. With San Antonio just 20 minutes away, Helotes Gallery enjoys the perfect blend of small-town charm and easy access to big-city life.
