Learn basics of human figure construction. The first part of the workshop will explore figure proportion and the use of basic primitives to construct the human figure. The last part will be on the human hand where we will learn basic methods for construction.

Please join us for a relaxed and enjoyable workshop devoted to the fundamentals of drawing the figure with emphasis on the human hand.

Norman Engel earned his B.A. in Fine Art at Morehead State University in Eastern Kentucky, and an M.F.A in Computer Animation from Florida Atlantic University. His impressive resume includes painting, technical photography, animation, and teaching art at the college level. He currently holds adjunct positions at the Art Institute of San Antonio, and The Southwest School of Art.
