A moving tribute honoring lives lost and supporting families affected by the recent Texas Hill Country floods.
Viewing of “Angry River” will take place at multiple public receptions throughout the Hill Country until drawing the winner October 1, 2025 at the Helotes Gallery.
Lombardi’s 4x4 piece channels the heartbreak of the Hill Country floods through vivid abstract expressionism.
Blue – angry, moving water
Black – raging current
Green – the Hill Country
Red – lives lost
Pink – innocence
White – homes swept away
Yellow – hope
