Join plein air artist Shea Daniel-Youngblood and paint the classic Floore’s Country Store in Helotes.
The class is open to those that have painting experience and wish to learn more about outdoor painting.
The class is limited to 8 people and requires each person to bring their own easels, surfaces (canvas, paper), paint (oil or acrylic preferred, all paints allowed) and supplies for the 3 hour outdoor painting session. Shea paints in oils using a limited pallet of titanium white, ultramarine blue, alizarin crimson, cadmium yellow light, and sometimes cadmium red light and phthalo blue.
The class will begin with a demo by Shea, then each artist will find a subject of their own to paint, having fun with lettering and working on homing in on your point of interest.
Plan for a fun and educational experience and dress for the weather.
